Children & Youth Protection and Development
"Children & Youth Protection and Development Programe" is one of the mainstream and long-term programs of the organization that has been implementing since 1999 to date in 6 towns of Georgia: Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Tskhaltubo, Poti, Zugdidi and Senaki.
The program aims to support internally displaced and local vulnerable youth to develop their leadership potential, personal and professional skills to become socially active and self-reliant citizens. The program serves to strengthen the social security net through empowerment of youth, develop vibrant civil society and accumulate social capital in the community.
Every year about 800 internally displaced and other vulnerable children and youths aged 9-25 are targeted through the Youth Development Clubs, Weekend Schools and Vocational Schools established within the Children & Youth protection and Development Program.
